Joint Meeting of Parish/Town Councils with Kirklees Council, 24 September 2008 To note the date of the next joint meeting of the Parish/Town Councils and Kirklees Council to be held at Mirfield Town Council; to discuss items for the agenda (draft enclosed) and to agree delegates to the meeting. 12. Community Governance Review To receive information on the setting up of the Community Governance Review Project Team (enclosed)
13. Parish Plan Update To discuss the proposed update of the Parish Plan (enclosed)
14. Working Party on Public Transport To receive an update report from the Working Party and to consider correspondence from Metro concerning the 435/436 bus service (enclosed)
15. Clerk’s Training To agree to sign the tripartite Learning Agreement between Yorkshire & Humber Regional Training Partnership, the Clerk and the Parish Council in relation to the Clerk’s achievement of the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA)
16. Traffic Signs at Park Lane, Birdsedge To receive correspondence concerning the introduction of road signage on Penistone Road (enclosed)
17. Kirklees Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment To consider a response to Kirklees Council’s request for potential sites for housing (enclosed)
18. Cross Lane Skate Park To discuss the proposal by Kirklees Council to move the skate park from one side of the recreation ground on Cross Lane to the other (plan enclosed)
19. Green Initiative To discuss possible projects under the green initiative budget item. 20. Business Plan To discuss the proposal for a Business Plan
